A/B Testing

Definition

A method of comparing two variations of a webpage, email, or ad to determine which performs better against a defined metric.

A/B testing (also called split testing) is fundamental to data-driven GTM optimization. It involves showing version A to one group and version B to another, then measuring which produces better results -- higher click rates, more conversions, or more replies. A/B testing applies across email subject lines, landing pages, ad creative, pricing pages, and sales messaging. Statistical significance is required to draw valid conclusions, and tests should change only one variable at a time for clear attribution.
