ICP
Definition
Ideal Customer Profile -- a detailed description of the type of company that would get the most value from your product and is most likely to become a long-term customer.
The ICP defines the firmographic, technographic, and behavioral characteristics of best-fit accounts -- such as industry, company size, tech stack, growth stage, and pain points. A well-defined ICP focuses sales and marketing efforts on the accounts most likely to convert, retain, and expand, improving efficiency across the GTM motion. ICPs should be revisited regularly based on analysis of actual customer data, win/loss patterns, and retention metrics.
